It doesn't happen often, but sometimes I am really overcome by the emotion of a wedding ceremony, and I am not afraid to admit that at this wedding I shed more than one tear!
From the moment I met Fleur I had a special connection with her, one of those deep-rooted bonds that you just can't explain. Perhaps it's her kindness, openness, and sense of humour ; in fact she reminds me of a very close Israeli friend of mine, Efrat, a kindred spirit. I was delighted to be asked to dinner at Fleur and Ismael's house before the wedding so that I could get to know them and their two fabulous dogs (Gringo and Youpie) before the wedding. For them, the most important thing about the day was their union, shared with very close friends and family, it was going to be a small intimate affair.
Nothing could have prepared me for the beauty of the surroundings or indeed the emotion of the ceremony, as you can see there were tears of joy shed by all. Absolutely incredible.
