True blue.


I first met Stephanie and Giulio at their beautiful apartment in Lausanne about 9 months ago.  They are such a friendly welcoming couple, the kind of people that you warm to instantly.  I was therefore over the moon when they chose me to photograph not only their Wedding at the  Le Montreux Palace, but also their Civil Ceremony at the   Chateau de Nyon. 

 Their Civil Ceremony was so very glamorous.  Giulio insisted that he didn't want to see Stephanie before the ceremony, as is tradition.  Of course, you could clearly see he was blown away as Stephanie walked into the room looking stunning in a flowing white dress,  topped off  with the most fabulous blue shoes, wow!  I am secretly hoping the shoes will make another appearance for their wedding in September,  I just love a bold splash of colour!

 After the ceremony we spent a relaxed hour taking some couple photos in the grounds of the  Chateau.  Stephanie had even prepared some cut-out letters for them to hold, spelling out their own favourite saying  'Forever Yours', cute.  I can't wait for their wedding, I know it's going to be spectacular!

Just peachy.


I am really excited to be able to share these photos with you,  I have been waiting patiently for Odile and Richard to return from their honeymoon for them to see them first, of course!  Odile and Richard got married just under a month ago in the stunning Château de Nyon and after a very intimate ceremony with close friends and family, everyone was invited to their new home in Begnins for an aperitif, which was then followed by a relaxed and fun reception in the Ecu Vaudoise.

 I will try not to 'gush' about this couple, well I did say try.  Lets just say that when you see them together you really feel happy to the bottom of your stomach, they are just magical together, and as you can see they really do love a good laugh!   I wish them all the very best in their new life together.

O' La-La !

Did I mention recently that I really do love my job? 

 I feel so privileged, not only that couples choose to share one of their most important days with me, but that I get to meet some really fantastic people. Odile and Richard are one of those superb couples, they are so full of the  'joie de vivre'.  We spent a wonderful afternoon last Sunday enjoying Nyon's brilliant afternoon sunshine for their engagement shoot.  They were so relaxed and fun, who would have thought they would end up hanging from trees in the main square!?
Nyon is a special place for Odile and Richard as it is not only where they will be married, but also where they met.  There were an abundance of places to photograph that were very pertinent to them, including a giant 'O' which was a 'must' as Richard's surname is O'Sullivan!  Sometimes these things could not  be planned better, even if we tried extra hard!

I cannot wait for their wedding in 3 weeks!

Positively Autumnal.


As you can see, Summer has finally departed and the golden glow of the autumnal leaves lightens the streets.  For our mid-morning photoshoot Audrey, Vincent and I were very fortunate to have one of those magical days, where the sun shines in the cloudless blue sky and the crisp cool air fills your lungs; so refreshing!  

 Audrey and Vincent are getting married on Saturday,  which sadly will be my last wedding of the season.  Although excitingly I already have lots of bookings for next year, so if you're interested in meeting me to chat about your wedding photography, please don't hesitate to get in touch, sooner rather than later!

A civil ceremony.

Catherine and Dario are one of those couples that you instantly warm to. They are so kind, friendly and of course totally in love.  Although they are getting married in September, they asked me to be present to photograph their civil ceremony at the Château de Nyon on Friday.  I was of course delighted to accept such a kind invitation.  It was an intimate affair with only close family and friends present, full of smiles and even a few tears !


Purple (which I have a suspicion is Catherine's favourite colour) was the order of the day and Catherine and Dario's outfits complemented each other perfectly, topped off by a beautiful posy of flowers given to the bride-to-be by Fabio (Dario's brother) as a present.
