Swan lake.

About a year or so ago, I had the great pleasure of meeting Léa, she is an absolute ray of sunshine.   Some of you ladies may recognise her smiley face as she works in the beautiful wedding dress boutique Cymbeline in Carouge.   I was absolutely delighted when Léa and Christian asked me to be their wedding photographer for their big day in April. 

They chose to have their engagement shoot in St Prex, a very picturesque lakeside village which has some exquisite side streets.  Although it was a sunny day, the lakeside was still snow-covered which made for some really striking photos, and to top it off, some swans were majestically swimming along the water's edge....ahh Switzerland, you never cease to surprise me!

Léa is a lady that doesn't like to do things by halves.  By May she will not only be Mme Humberset but she is changing jobs and will be working at the fabulous wedding dress boutique Belle en Blanc in Lausanne!  A fan of absolutely everything 'wedding' I know that her own 'Jour J' will be spectacular! L.o.v.e

Laugh, giggle and then laugh again was how Florence and Sebastien spent last Wednesday morning.   They had such fun on their engagement photo shoot that Florence nearly ended up getting an impromptu morning dip in the village fountain, courtesy of a rather cheeky Sebastien... I love it!   As we strolled around Saint Prex where they live, along the small cobbled streets, past beautiful old doorways and magnificent views of the lake there was really an abundance of choice of places to photograph, that coupled with the crisp morning light it was just perfect.


I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the lovely and very talented wedding planner Joëlle, of 'Marry Me' who is working with Florence and Sebastien to help plan their wedding, and who recommended me to be their photographer.  I am very excited to photograph their wedding on the 1st October which will no doubt be absolutely beautiful and tons of fun!
