Switzerland has the most magnificent Châteaus, and The Château de Lucens is one of the most fabulous that I have had the pleasure to visit.
Lucie and Loic chose this stunning venue for their wedding this winter, and with snow still on the ground and a crisp clear blue sky, it was the most beautiful day. The church ceremony was very important to them, and with the help of some very attentive flower girls and traditionally dressed Fribourgeois friends, the service was extra special.
The traditional 'little touches' didn't stop there as in the evening everyone was thoroughly entertained by some very talented 'opera singers' from the Lausanne Academy of music, fantastic speeches, 'medieval dressing-up' from the best men / bridesmaids, and then some superb ballroom dancing.
