Like many couples, Alex and Dave asked me to photograph not only their wedding day but also their civil ceremony. As some of you may know, in Switzerland, you must be 'legally married' at the Mairie before your chosen wedding day. For some this is just a formality, but for others it is another important part of their wedding.
Alex looked so fresh-faced and pretty in her rich satin dress with pink bow; I think there is a touch of 'Reese Witherspoon' about her look. The ceremony was of course short and sweet (as these things invariably are) and they chose not to exchange rings but to save this for their big day. I think these photos are really cute, but wait until you see their wedding day shots!
