People often ask me what I do during the wedding 'off-season'. Well I am delighted to say that over the past few years this famed 'quiet time' seems to be a bit of a myth, and 2013 was no exception. I was shooting up to the very last few days of the year, and what a wonderful little Civil Ceremony it was in Thiory, France on the 28th December.
Alexia and Mike had a close family ceremony followed by a wonderful aperitif and lunch at Les Cepages. Nobody would ever have guessed they had welcomed twin boys into the world only 6 weeks earlier!
They are such a lovely couple; Alexia is French, and if the Tweed suit wasn't enough of a giveaway, Mike is Scottish. I am really excited to be seeing them again this year when they have a much larger wedding celebration in August, I can't wait!
Now, all we need is a little snow before my next wedding in a few weeks in Crans-Montana! I just love winter weddings, especially in the Alps.
