Brechtje and Michael have been chasing each other around the world since they met, and as the vicar said on their wedding day, even oceans cannot come between them. They flew all the way from their home in Texas to get married in the mountains in Crans-Montana. As you can imagine, I was so happy that they chose me to photograph not only their engagement photoshoot on the slopes (see their photos here), but also their wonderful wedding day.
They are so very lucky to be surrounded by such wonderful family and friends, there was such an air of excitement throughout the whole day. One of my favourite moments was when Brechtje had just put her dress on and the emotion was so visible she just kept saying 'I'm so excited, I am going to marry Michael'....everyone was trying to hold back the tears!
Just when I thought the day couldn't be any more perfect, you guessed it, it started to lightly snow as they exited the church. Ladies and gentlemen, this is what dreams are made of. I wish you a very long and happy life together Brechtje and Michael, you are a fabulous couple.
